There are lots and lots of Devon cycle routes, paths and trails to choose from, so hop on and you’ll find stunning coastal scenes, rolling green hills and glorious woodlands

The Exe Estuary Trail 26 miles

Right on our doorstep this 26 mile, mainly flat cycle route and walkway runs around the entire Exe Estuary, and has fantastic views along the River Exe. It’s mainly off-road, and links Exmouth to Dawlish Warren, via Topsham and Exeter, and forms part of National Cycle Network 2.

Devon Coast to Coast 100miles

From Plymouth to Ilfracombe this largely off road cycle route is the perfect family friendly adventure. This easy 2-3 day route is made that mush easier with our Hardtail Mountain E-bikes. This spectacular route take you through some of Devons most glorious scenery. Stop along the way for a well earned break and sleep over in a quintessential Devon village to recharge yours and your bikes batteries.

Haldon Forest

Another right on our doorstep, just a stone’s throw from the M5, this woodland mountain bike sanctuary succeeds in making you feel like you’ve been transported to deepest, darkest Devon. There are several waymarked trails, as well as some off-piste singletrack if you know where to look. The red-graded Ridge Ride begins with a flat and then downhill start, at odds with many UK trail centres. It’s great fun, but make sure you’re warmed up first – you can do this in the skills area by the car park.

A well-surfaced route for beginners and families. Walkers use this trail too, so be aware.
This trail is one step up from the green, with some narrower sections and gentle gradients.
The next progression from the spicers trail.
This would be more aptly described as a pink trail rather than a red. The not-too-difficult singlet rack that weaves through the trees is fun and flowy, and the downhill start away from the car park is a welcome change too. There’s a black-graded 1km option – the Ridge Ride Extreme, a technical loop with more difficult trail obstacles.
The skills area is designed to give a taster of the features you’ll find out on the marked trails. The pump track is a decent length and lots of fun.

The Granite Way

Okehampton – Lydford Largley flat along a railway line this family friendly route is also part of the Devon Coast 2 Coast. Cycle over Meldon Viaduct and take in the beautiful Dartmoor views. You can even incorporate your trip with a visit to Lydford Gorge

Scadson Woods Bike Park

A purpose-built mountain bike trail near Paignton is great for all abilities. With three downhill trails of approx 500m long, the trails are built to a professional standard, and there’s also an area for beginners and skills training area with riding obstacles and dual slalom track.
